This is the blog that I’ve been putting off for 1 1/2 years. My name is Harold Brown and I’m an ordained lay minister of the gospel of Jesus Christ. I felt called to start Dutch Fork Iron Works Motor/Cycle Ministry as not only a Motor and Cycle ministry, but as a prison, outreach, and discipleship ministry. While not a direct ministry of any church, it was started with the blessing and prayerful support of my former senior pastor; this ministry is under God’s control. I have put this off for so long so as to make sure it is what God wants me to do, and not something of myself. This is really God’s blog, and I can only put down what he inspires me to write.

I totally appreciated your comment on Lent on Mark Brown’s blog. If you’re happy I would like to leave a link to your blog on mine. I’ve only just started it a week ago and so I’m still experimenting with the ‘dashboard’!!
It also bugs me why there should be a special kind of devotion that just goes for Lent and then, apparently, life resumes as normal.
